City of Connellsville, Pennsylvania
Welcome to the City of Connellsville, located in Fayette County in Southwestern Pennsylvania along the banks of the Youghiogheny River. Originally founded as a borough on March 1, 1806, in February 1909, balloting in New Haven and Connellsville resulted in these two boroughs joining and becoming the first City on Fayette County on May 12, 1911, and currently has a population of 9,146, according to the 2000 census.

Sponsored by the Connellsville Veterans Commission, this program will honor not only Veterans, but all the Patriots of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Various speakers include: Todd Conner, Director of Fayette County Veteran Affairs; Ted Davis; MC Jerry Browell, Former Superintendent of Connellsville School District; and Reverend Beverly Gross of Albright United United Methodist Church. The Connellsville High School Band will perform selections. Local area Police, Fire and EMS departments are invited to attend, as this program also honors their service to our community.
